When you get 99 mining, you should make him into a pure.  Maybe a 20 atk vesta/statius pure, since you would definetely have the cash to make one.

- I'm making iron knives until 80 smithing and I'll make enough of a profit to get 99 firemaking. After that, the grind to 99 mining :)
