PS CS4 extended 3D work

If anyone has Cs4 extended, try converting different layers to greyscale planes or spheres, you can make sooooo many crazy C4D's and shit in photoshop 0_0

No, really... Like I'm assuming you can change the colours and whatnot, correct? (No, not talking about hue/saturation or colour balance)

if the original layer has colour, it will do random shit when you convert it to a depth plane, but if u do a normal greyscale plane, then go back and edit the greyscale layer it will maintain the original shape but still change colour.

soz thug, havnt been on lately, too much work lol, going to work again in like 5 mins, just fill a layer with clouds and convert to grescale plane, the blue BG was just like a solid blue layer erased the bottom half, set it to like vivid light or some shit. i dno when ill next be on the forums, hell fuckign busy irl.

turns out my night out went to shit, soooo, epic fail. kat i know what a fucking C4D is lol, i just meant it like looks the same. Isn't there a more general name for shit like that that isn't made in cinema 4D?

i can't remember what i did, you need to make the plane, then use the sldie tool to bring ti closer, then the pan tool to move it down a bit, rotate it so it slopes away from you a little bit. Then you can double click on the 3D layer where it says "layer 1", and you'll be able to edit the original image, so u can add colour etc. Then just add in w/e FX u want with normal PS tools, like i did with the blue BG.

you could also try adding a gradient layer over the top on like 50% to influence the general shape of it more to your liking.
