PC BUILD - Ryzen 5 3600?

Craig

Recommended Posts

I sold my pc to my brother a few months ago and will be building a new one.

Looking at benchmarks and fps settings on different CPUs the ryzen 5 3600 offers best value for money as intels with a similar ability are a few hundred more in price.

Does anyone use this chip or anyone have any recommendations on a build. It will literally be for general tasks, PUBG/League/Total War maybe RS 👀

It really depends on your budget. The CPU is overkill if you're not pairing it with atleast a 2070. You'd be better off with a 1600 AF and a 2060. List your budget and I'll slap a build list together for you

I build and sell 5-10 gaming rigs a week at all budgets.

Is 1080p high Refresh rate your goal? Or 1440p/4k . That and your budget are the most important decisions before even thinking about what CPU to go with

Hey man. Someone mentioned you haha.

1080p refresh is fine. Literally going to be using it for RS/PUBG/LEAGUE. Maybe games like total war and maybe cod in the future.

I want high fps on runesape i used to get like 50 fps even with 200 people on the screen. I had an i5 and a 960 4gb.

I obviously want it for a while so something that will stay in date for atleast 3-4 years.  Budget about 1-1.2k GBP or 1.2k-1.4k USD

Runescape is 50 fps capped. an old i5 and a 960 will still do that. for 1k usd should be able to set you up with a high refresh rate monitor and a good 1080p rig. what country you from i'll do a parts list
