Gargoyles boss pet hunt - how to do 3-6 kill trips on a pure

So I've been meaning to make a guide on how to do the gargoyles boss effectively for pures.

It's a video guide, but the notes are down below for once you've watched: https://streamable.com/8j126w

(Will try to upload on YT at a later date, unless someone else can be kind enough to do the honours?)

Fight starts at 2:28, for those not interested in the gear load-out.

This guide will take you through how to get fast kills where you take only about 80 damage a kill.

Phase 1

Range noon

Pray flick the meleer from the spot in the video

Phase 2

Stand close to the meleer when he spawns

Hit 4 times before he first hits you, and dodge the special on the second attack

Bring him back to his original spawn location to shave a few seconds off the transition to phase 3

Phase 3

Pray melee at the start of the round and DPS noon

When orbs spawn switch to pray range

Either collect the orbs or DPS down noon before she heals (risky)

Melee flick the meleer. If their attacks are on the same tick, stand underneath the meleer to change the tick it's attacking on

Alternative: For the most afk way, stand next to noon (melee distance), and just pray melee throughout the kill. You will take a lot of damage but after collecting the orbs you can afk for the remainder of this phase.

Phase 4

Range pray + 15%s

Spec twice (ideally with claws)

After each attack move away from the boss

If it moves close to you pray melee and then hit and run again

Don't underestimate this phase; if any phase is going to kill you it's this one. The range can hit 30 and you can take damage from accidentally stepping under.

If you're chasing pet, don't forget to bring - and actually use(!) - the bracelet of slaughter when you finish the kill.

After the fight

Use brews and restores to restore back to full hp, repot and kill another 2,999 times! GL on pet.

NB:
Thought I'd just add one thing. You needn't pick up your loots between kills - just straight away kill the next one. It takes an age for them to vanish - maybe 30 minutes or more (ofc they will be lost on death).  So you can leave those stacks of mushroom potatoes on the floor without juggling them, or those (2) pots that you don't yet need.

Using runelite, hold the alt key to display how long until an item disappears if you're worried they might. If the ground items bug you, just turn it off.

pretty good guide, exactly how i do it, 2nd phase (melee) you have time to do 2 attacks before he does the orange push back thing then u can walk up to him like normal and dodge the rocks

only thing id really recommend changing is avas > ranging cape but thats up to u

good guide :]

Ava is better than ranging cape :O? I never knew that the range cape actually doesn't give the + range accuracy. Thanks for this. Have always used the range cape by default, thinking it was the best of both worlds.
