didnt know people skip trolls, they were one of my fav tasks for quick slay xp when i did ranged. just use cannon north of burthope and stand inside the southern tent, its single area but cannon does a lot of hits inbetween kills and also hits the thrower trolls even if you are in combat with another troll

Edit: removed comment after testing - my suggested method is best in terms of XP having tested it, and the cannon LOC in picture posted is better (or move in down the cliff to the highlighted tile if meleeing).

Even, now being at Jatizo, is worse than this afk spot tbh - maybe only consider it if not wanting to afk at all. 

You can even plonked a cannon down here (although you get dragged occasionally and have to click back) or up top on the clip (a spot I've now added to the guide that seems to work well).
