Video "problem"

Well 1st of all. Im not sure if this is the right section, im going to talk about a pk video tho so i believe its rs related, tell me if im wrong.

This is how it goes.. i just got my 1st vid gathered up and i'd like to "break into the world of utube", so do u guys have any advice how to get my vid some views so i could be a lil better known?? I rly want to make more vids but if it seems like the 1st one isn't going to be watched enough theres no point making another one IMO. thx  :D

Yeah i edit by myself, but ima complete shit editer tbh. Just started makin these things, havent been tryina learn anything, i edit with vegas 9 and vid with camtasia. Need more info? if u do, what from

Test alot before making vids so you make quality video's

Naw testing is boring. It has pretty good "quality" in that way but not much editing done it annoys me when i have to do it all over again if i mess up.

Tbh make sure every clip you have is near enuff your max hit, include hybriding and various places.

Make sure you post on various forums including here and rsc.

K another question, if the vid is taken from private servers (dont flame -.-), can i still post here? =O or is it against rules.. And yes i know private server is "Only for noobs" u might think, but im out of p2p atm so meh. And Steroid i was hittin pretty good init, no hybrid clips tho, i'll get for next vid. Rly not much places to pk in dat.. server.. ehh..  :unsure2:

It won't be against the rules if the clips are from private servers, but your vid is succeptible to becoming bashed for doing so, unfortunately :sleep:

If you're not entirely confident that your quality of editing will do any good, then you have a few options: either make as basic editing as possible for a first to avoid the video becoming too cluttered, show your editing to someone seasoned with Sony Vegas for their feedback and support either through a forum somewhere or in IRC, or you can always find someone who's willing to edit the clips for you.

It also helps to take a look at other popular vids to see what exactly makes them flow well

Yeah.. Private servers rly do get underarrestimated. if thats how its written, lol. Well i think my editing is basic beginner.. things. Lol and tbh none of my friends dus vids so i rly dont know who to show to :O

and .. what else, i have been watching some videos for ideas/info lately ^^ i have no idea where i could find a FREE editer tho.. every1 wants something ;)

My tip would be to raise that internet self-esteem, no one wants to watch a video whose maker says its "decent". But yes, just use quality clips, and just mess around with vegas a little bit. If you ever need help on how to do an effect, try consulting youtube if not people in irc can be rather helpful. Good luck and godspeed. :nice:

Thanks Tragic :P I'll try to get more entertaining clips for next vid so i can actually say its entertaining instead of decent ;D Only reason im saying its not that great since i see that kind of pking videos daily. @ bambii download trial, google Sony vegas 9.0 Keygen. I believe ur smart enough to know how to continue from here :D , if u find out any problems while doing that tho, just check out from youtube.
