Recording lag.

so anyway alot of people have this problem when recording...LAG.

my laptop is not even 8 months old and i always lag when i record pking, the ONLY problem i can think of is that im using wireless internet but then again i can run rs, msn, music, facebook, youtube all at the same time and not have lag but then when all i have is rs screen and my screen recorder open, it still lags!!!! :@

anyone have any tips? ive cleared the internet cookies, ran a performance update, anti virus scan, spyware etc. cleaned my comp but yet i still lag...kind of annoying.

I have the same problem, one of the things you have to think is that your running it on a laptop and gernally laptops arent great for gaming so theres one thing

you could try reducing the area that your recording so dont include the chat box / inv  that should help a bit and when your recording close any programmes on your laptop you dont need.

i do that and it still lags but i dont use a laptop.

try turning everything off while you vid, set your frames per second lower if you lag. it wouldn't be as good quality tho

it's the recorder if you're using hypercam u will most likely lag depending on your Ram download camtasia that's lag free i'm only 1Gig ram and i don't lag but i lag using hypercam.
