If you get a bit more info on the person you can run with it.

Like the guy who hacked me for 5 def so long ago.... I copied his IP from login, traced it with a website, found a general area of where he was living, then went onto a random forum where he was, found his MSN, added him, found out his name and school through his MSN, searched areas around the school and found his address, his phone number, etc.

Well I did something like that, was funny when I showed him and he shit brix though :D

Finding somebody's info takes common sense more than it does knowledge tbh. As for the IP, I'm sure you can take it and run with it lol; people on them internets are pretty crafty ;D
