Hahaha they feed all 4,000+ of us at once and you have ten minutes to get in and out for the meals, so the mess hall workers bring pitchers of water to every table and set them out in advance. And with the 400+ tables (10 people or so per table) depending on when they brought the water pitchers the ice was already melted. So often times we didn’t have a choice, which is very communist yes @Pat
