if you want to train rang on acc with higher def, just using knifes/darts with buckler (75def) aint too bad option (buckler now also gives +10range str)

 

buckler with adamant darts (20ea) (1shot ~4gp with assembler)

 

buckler with rune knifes (220ea) (1shot ~44gp with assembler)

vs

blowpipe with adamant darts (20ea dart + 120ea scale) (1shot ~124gp with assembler)

vs

blowpipe with rune dart (330ea dart + 120ea scale) ( 1shot ~186gp with assembler)
