Mizi Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 (edited) I saw that to apply to join you need a 25 post minimum, so I figured I'd make a little forum blog to show off my progress as I go through the painful process of getting a pure up to scratch. The past couple days I made my account and have gotten started by getting 43 prayer, 13 magic, and 23 hp. With these stats I'm more or less an immortal god as far as questing is concerned, and I started rushing quests for xp and progressing towards all the things I need to get done. I want those sweet sweet quest rewards. This isn't my first rodeo, I actually had a maxed pure at one point and I gave it away like the generous fool I used to be. And now many years later I get to pay the price for my generosity. And it's a big price to pay. A really big price. So much BS. I'm especially not looking forward to bursting, but at the very least I'm under the impression I can use the mm2 tunnels these days due to a somewhat recent update. I did restless ghost I did a bunch of quests that gave me melee stats And I spent 45 minutes falling down this hole over and over again. My immediate plan is to do the bare minimum to get all my attack xp quests, get through Monkey Madness, and park my account in the NMZ and dscim my way to 99 strength. In order to do that last part though, the part where I use 5 trillion prayer potions in the nmz, I'm going to need money. So getting some gp is a priority for me right now, but it would be a priority anyway because I want to get paid and I have many things to buy. Like a tbow so I can learn to do inferno on 1 defence. $$. Also as an aside, I'm still trying to figure out where most of the community hangs out. Whether that be this forum, the teamspeak, or the discord. As a non member it seems to me like I only really have access to the forums until I get my account finished, but if there is a way I can interact with the community before I get to that point, that would be cool. Mizi Posted March 6, 2024 Author Posted March 6, 2024 I did a bunch of questing. And a little bit of skilling. And then more questing and whatever... Oh my god there are so many pictures of quest that I can't fit them all in one reply...
Mizi Posted March 6, 2024 Author Posted March 6, 2024 And with the last quest I can do that gives attack xp finished, it's time for me to get 60 attack. And with that, I simply need to beat MM1 and Lost City to be able to park my account into the Nmz for a long, long time.
Executions Posted March 6, 2024 Posted March 6, 2024 Embrace the grind ! Gl man I’m currently on training grind. Feel free to add me in game for chats - “Executions”

Feel free to add me in game for chats - “Executions” I saw some of your posts and your introduction, I think we are in the same boat right now haha! I'll make sure to add you. I'm playing a steady amount each day so I don't burn out. It's very convenient because I have to do a medical procedure every day that has me bedridden for two hours, and it's always difficult to find something to occupy myself. I'm lucky that I decided I wanted to make this account; it's the perfect thing to do during that and is distracting from the pain. GL with your grind as well
Mizi Posted March 6, 2024 Author Posted March 6, 2024 (edited) I beat Monkey Madness. And then I got some woodcutting xp to prepare for Lost City Once I beat that quest I can park my account in the nmz and go to town with melee xp. I can then work towards my next goals, which are to setup my account for range and mage training. I plan on training range with a venator bow in the nmz, and mage I'm lead to believe I could do in the mm2 tunnels. I might cry if that method doesn't work because I really hated getting 99 range and magic in the mm1 tunnels the first time I built a pure... Edited March 6, 2024 by Mizi

Mizi Posted March 7, 2024 Author Posted March 7, 2024 Oh it's fine, I'm not unwell or anything, it's just a thing I have to do lol. A perfect excuse to scape.
Mizi Posted March 7, 2024 Author Posted March 7, 2024 I trained thieving. Getting a 28 thieving rocky pet perfectly sums up my luck in this game. My pet luck is second to none, but it's kind of wasted on me because I only care about getting one single pet. Maybe I'll go for it on my pure sometime, would be funny to have out in wars.
Mizi Posted March 9, 2024 Author Posted March 9, 2024 I got started in the NMZ And did a bunch of questing (continued on next post)
Mizi Posted March 9, 2024 Author Posted March 9, 2024 .... And now the website won't let me upload anymore screenshots. But believe me, there are a lot! I feel like I'm starting to burn out, and the reality of a slow NMZ grind is starting to sink in, so I'll probably slow down my progress. I wanna participate, but these accounts aren't built overnight. Having to do a couple hours of medical stuff every day gives me a way to get some consistent time in, but that might be all the time I'm able to spare.
Mizi Posted March 9, 2024 Author Posted March 9, 2024 Making some progress towards finishing all quests I can do that give prayer xp... I'm not sure why the website isn't letting me upload more screenshots, kinda annoying. Also started training some farming to prepare for rum deal.
Stella Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 The best part of starting a new account is the progress you make quickly, until you get to the point where it takes forever to max. Enjoy yourself and have fun
