Where do I download IRC + teamspeak.

Well I'm really paranoid about fake websites and viruses etc. and I tried to find it somewhere on these forums but I couldn't anywhere.. Could somebody post a link to where I can download both/either of them, and tell me what their actually used for.. XD

I am a major noob at this stuff so if anyone can help me it would be awesome!  :p
