Computer Help Needed

Hey guys during the summer I'm going to be a lifeguard and I want buy a new computer. I got the brand I want, HP, and I have my mind set on two desktops but I don't know if I should go up the extra $100.

"Starting from.." So it won't be exactly, $100, it might be more, do more research if you HAVE to buy one of them.

Would be a smart idea to post what you'd use the PC for.

Anyway..

Top one with the Phenom II 965 Processor.

I 100% recommend not getting a HP, build your own, it will work out cheaper and you choose what you get, so you're not paying for things you don't use/understand.

Absolutley no point in over 6GB of memory, 99% of programs don't use more than 6GB, most not more than 4GB.

If it's for games those PC's suck, the graphics cards are pretty outdated for games.

spend a few more hundred and get a custom machine, it'll will cost you less in the long run to update parts as they become outdated rather than dropping a couple hundred on a whole new machine in 4 years..

they even have like $30 1080i HDMI cables that usually go for $130+ in retail stores..

they have everything you'll ever need
