its usualy an accident but its not a glitch.

I heard that there was one a while ago if you died with a staff set to auto cast, and when you lost the runes you instead hit defensively or something. I am usually pretty careful with magic.

If you have a sara sword, set to crush (for waterfeinds), then you equip a dramen staff to use fairy rings (which pures can do), it'll turn your mode to defence.

When you use your sara sword again, it'll be set to defence still.

I've gotten about 5k exp from this =/
