Nah, it's vice versa.. Your insurance pays them if you do something wrong to damage their vehicle. Their insurance pays you if they do something wrong.

well its usually not that much of a difference. i pay about 95$ a month, and my sister pays 80$ dollars a month. you dad either has a higher insurance policy than your mom, such as full coverage or what ever, or he has traffic tickets.
