Question About Botting/Autoing

Well long story short I took around a year break from RS but now i'm playing more regularly again and plan to be on more often during Summer.

What's surprised me though: Especially on this site, I've seen a lot of posts/comments about botting? From my understanding there are 'scripts' now that you're able to use to bot a skill without getting banned?

If I'm a complete dumbass, please let me know, but if you could clear this up for me, please let me know as well.

Botting is completely cool. Idk why everyone is all anti it.

Anyway. You download a botting program like RSBOT or something of the sort. Then use a script to perform that action. Like for killing chickens say you would use a chicken killing script.

You probably won't get caught as long as you don't run them 24/7 and are of a decent level with decent stats

If you watch and talk with someone near you to that helps.

That's about it. Just make it look like your not cheating you know?

Bots are java written programs which run on code. ~such programs used like scar and so on.

Basically all scripts run like a red light code; (e.g)

IF this happens, do this, wait until this happens, do that so on so on (but more detailed)

Since programing is a must in this day and age people have perfected script writing so the chances of getting caught with a flawless script is very rare. There is no such thing as never getting banned, there is always a chance so dont listen to anything anyone says.

but bots these days have become so sophisticated and with the market being so competitive, there is a bot for everything. You name it, there is one for it.

Alright haha so I checked out RsBots and i'm really considering buying one of their scripts ($19.99).

Of course it claims 100% banproof or whatever but how credible/certain is this? What's a realistic chance of a ban/offence? I have 0 blackmarks anyways.

FOE doesn't endorse botting or cheating, though some people choose to do it. If you get banned, don't say we didn't tell you so. There's always a chance of being banned, no matter how good the script or how well you manage your botting.

pretty much mass people bot, even foe, and its getting a ton easier to do. Rsbot cost money now so im not sure of its popularity among the other posters. as for getting caught, just dont alch lol  :nice:

yea pretty much what everyone else said.

I've never botted on this FOE acct or even at my current IP.

But ANY- even 1 hour- worth of botting is risking getting PERM BANNED. So it's your risk.

Free bots and more common bots like hunter will have higher ban rates for people and other mostly paid bots have less ban rates.

Also it's all about getting lucky tbh. If your account is flagged youre pretty much screwed when they look into it.

So if you care about your account too much i recommend never botting. If u dont care so much u can babysit ur bot or either bot limited hours a day. If u wanna have fun and dont care at all go ahead and suicide and do 24/7 lol.

no bots are banproof, read again, IF USED PROPERLY THEY ARE 100% UNDETECTABLE.. aka don't use for a thousand hours a week and read RSBOTS forums before deciding on a bot, LOOK AT OTHER USERS FEEDBACK ON THE SPECIFIC BOT BEFORE YOU CHOOSE IT..

If you have access to decent bots use them, there are some really good ones so if you want to eaze up the pressure do it on a new account ang bot the whole thing like a boss.
