hello guy's it was about 1:30 am it's 2:10 am now;,

well anyway i was about to goto bed & thought i'd watch a vid on YT;

well i was getting about half way through the vid right?

then all of a sudden all i saw was this humungous WHITE FLASH , like it lit up the entire sky,

my mum was asleep & she woke up to witness what happen ,

& all power inside my house went out ; NOTE: we live near those big powerlines? the massive one's that you'd see around,

don't know if all countrys are the same by powerline use; EXCEPT man it fucking spun me out !

order was; BIG WHITE FLASH ; 2 seconds later a tiny bang noise; ALL POWER WENT OUT;

power came back on; & me & mum sat thinking wtf could it possibly be?

Any1 with ideas?

like seriously no joking around;

thanks.

lightning or something caused that big power station to blow out (although they shouldnt) and that caused your power to short out maybe

yeh it could of been lightning hitting the power station except no rain/storm here for quite a while; though to see a huge white flash out here from where ever the actual power station is; there's high up lines that run through alot of the areas around me and 2 happen to be close to my house; like i don't know what it was

but it had something to do with the electrical source.

EMP, which means get ready for nuclear warfare.

Either that or it could have been a small meteor or something from space hitting the earth.

Or a lightning bolt hitting a transformer nearby would cause that effect. Probably is the most practical explanation too.

Honestly it could be lots of things, but I doubt it's something to really worry about :)

or it could be alien related... check your ass for probes

haha yes yes; you play cod; i know what EMP is; mean's all sattellites are down ; yeh smart one d72

& yeh i agree it could be a total list of thing's who really know's for sure; but

if it were a small meteor i know it still make's a huge white flash but like would that cause power to shortage out? like seriously ;

but the thing is no lightnings/storm out right now, unless it hit the main circuit tho ;

have you ever heard if you hold a light bulb , or a long light under a power line that it would light up ?

could it be possible for it to be that close to the line that it heats up & explodes, yet the only thing that got me thinking about it was that even if it was that it wouldn't of made the sky light up the way it did .

& yeh severe, could be a probe, that crashed? into one of the lines who knows for sure, could be anything i guess i'll just check first thing tomoro in the paddock near mine.

actually emp is an electromagnetic pulse which yes causes interference with electrical devices and depending on the power can render them completely disabled

well same thing, all power shutdown - for a short period of time ;

like all electrical devices - err that's what i kinda meant but satellites have more views to the naked eye then what devices do ;P
