Not sure about initiate...

What are some of the responsibilities that come with becoming an initiate pure? Ive been a 1 def my whole career, but when i see 20 def ownage on utube by like bonesaw and stuff i really want to get to be that ownage. I have had my account a long time now, and im not sure if i will ruin about 2 years now.  If you want to see my stats look up LVVI thats my rsn.

EDIT: i DO have ALL the quests i need right now at my 1 def. rfd, dt, mm, hftd, all of em. other letters, you name it.

Pros

Higher hits, more def = good for clues/quests/skills/slay etc, more pray bonus, easier to train

Cons

Higher combat, targ fights harder, U need to put a hell of a lot more money into pking, u get called a main (lol)

Dont do it if you only have like 5m

If i was you id look into all the possible pking gears, prices, ups and downs

look at the prices of corrupt and think, are you willing to put all that money in for 15mins of pking and then loose it all.

Do you have the stats to make it work and are you willing to take on more tanks.

Good thing though is that it opens you up to more opportunities and you can tank 20x more than you could at 1deff :shifty: lol

Don't get 20 defence just because you want to be like other pkers.

Make it your decision & don't base it on the fact that you can see some good pkers with 20 def on youtube... cos there are plenty of people with 1 defence that can own just as much :)

Also getting def = higher combat = more mains/tanks to fuck around with :(

simply mostly because you cant run  back to pickup your nontradeables (firecape,defender,void)

Killing runepures,ini pures. They rely on on defenders/firecapes/torsos/void for runepures

Which causes a decrease in initiate pures and runepures

at 100combat 90% of the time your fighting a 90 def 99range tank

well for the quests part, do legacy of seergaze, the required quests gives you some def xp, nature spirit, and theres a few others that will help
