tanker will win even if mage is allowed in my opinion if the tanker has 94 mage cus it can wear ahrims then

secondly obby tanker wuld not take out 5m and risk it

3rd if the tanker wuld to use piety he wuld need to finish atk giving quests

also if the obby tanker wuldnt use b ring just for the fact that he wuldnt use it bcoz its not worth the extra wat +4 str

this wat an obby tanker with 70 def wuld use

boots: dragon

gloves mith gloves bcoz he cant get addy with 1 atk i dont think

wepon: rune knives/ slayer staff/ obby maul

neck: berserker

ring: recoil

cape: firecape or obby if he is willing to loose them

ok with those he wuld not skull and have protection prayer on

in inv he wuld have back d hide chaps if pure starts barrage/blitz

even if pure pulls out dds he still have to get really lucky specs to hit

Yes you can.... you can get mith gloves with 1 attack.. and addy only require you to do the nature's spirit subquest, which only gives defence....

On topic: The tank would definately win melee vs melee. i'd love to see 60 attack hit through 75 def as consistantly as 1 attack hitting through 1 defence. And to the guy who say "they can probably just safe and outlast the DDSer" that makes no sense, if youre safin,g you're using your food up quickly... so how would you outlast? -.-' fail

i still think the obby tank would probly win unless the pure mage'd the whole time with burst n just keep fcing it, but the pure wont really have a chance with dds/ d scim range might do ok but not good enough

i just thought, whys the tank allowed absolute max tank bonus but the 60 attack pure isnt allowed his bst options, this is kind of bias. give the pure d bolts E or d claws and i think he would win.

Tbh, what pure wouldn't just wield ancient staff and farcast against torags or dharoks, everytime the obby mauler moves he could just farcast again.  and with d claws now, it would still rip the tanker.

there should be no rules... like not being able to use mage for the pure and the tanker not being able to use attack pot. but if pure could use mage, he couldnt farcast.

you can get addy gloves with either 1 attack or 1 def, just not 1 def and 1 atk.

If the pure only used melee the tank would win easily, however if the pure used range/mage he would rip the tank.

obby tankers own so fucking hard.. mostly at low lvls.

Most DDS pures struggle to hit often on rune so against 70 defence it'd be a nightmare.

The tank would win imo.

Pure get's sucky gear, while the tanker get's all his top gear. The tanker would win with the stuff he's using, but if the pure had good gear, he would beat the tanked.

Give the pure his barrage, karil's bow, and maybe a gmaul, and a c. vesta and he'll win.

Isnt fair fight and no pure would fight a obby tank with maxed out def, Also the tanks at its best the pure isnt give the pure dclaws and maybe 70atk then the pure may win, But id say obby tank if the pure just has dds/dscim.
