what's better to use for points, mages' book or inf boots?

or is there something better? If I were to use all the points i spent for a mages' book and got them for inf boots, i'd be able to get 4 inf boots which = 4m. but mages' book = 5.2m so i think mages' book is best profit, or am i missing something?

Just look at points and how much they are worth. I doubt there is a trick to this...

there isn't. but like for wands i know you have to buy all of the wands before you can buy the master wand. So i'm just making sure i'm not missing something.

It seems like books are the way to go imo.
