severed arow Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 It's quite nice its a tutorial right ? i ssen an image almost the same as that on a tut also for one to explain about c4ds would take a long time there are pretty much unlimited ways of using one, but to start off use one that flows with your image also play around with the layer types eg. overlay soft light ect and you don't always need to use the whole c4d sometimes it is best to just use a tiny portion of it. Basically to learn more though look at c4d tuts and most importantly just play around and have fun, i cant stress that enough messing around in photoshop is the way you will learn most it also helps develop your own style instead of having someone else's. By all means do tutorials as well to find out more about some techniques ect but playing around is just fantastic not to mention fun. good luck. Plus is that a ritualist form guildwars?

It's the RT from the GW2 campaign, which was on the boxset etc.

OT: Less emphasis on brushes in the back, and the render should be blended a bit more. Also, as Severed said, you should invest in C4Ds, they add really superb effects. Also, I find the text distracting and kind of just placed out of nowhere in my opinion. I like the effects around the bottom of her body though, look pretty neat. Good job, keep going :nice:

I C0NN0R I Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 google search "effect C4D pack", download it, open a C4D, anything with a black background set to linear dodge. Don't resize C4D's or u ruin the quality, seeing as they're so big just find a nice area and crop it.
