Drugs in the post

Weird question that I'm sure no one can answer fully, but do the postal services have checks on packages for drugs going abroad.

My great-grandfather in Vancovour (Sp) randomly sent me an Elton John CD, a small bag of weed, papers, tobacco and a few smoking instruments telling me to get in touch if I'd like more. Of course, as a stinking student lame-o free weed is exactly what I want but don't want to get him/myself into trouble. As I said - it was a small, well-sealed package.

Inb4 world legalisation shitstorm, or weed-related talk, just stick to the question, please.

na, tell him to overnight it and use UPS and tell him to have it all already put in a box thats wrapped up in a paper bag with an address on it..

i've sent quite a bit of different narcotics back and forth to myself from cali to iowa now, and haven't heard a peep..

if you use UPS [a privately owned postal service] and overnight it they wouldn't even realistically have time to check/sniff it.. they get it on a truck to a plane then to the other place AS QUICKLY as possible man..

i think if it weighs a sertain ammount they do, or they might have drug dogs randomly come in and smell the mail. i thinks its a pretty risky thing to do.. i wouldnt do it lol
