Having a pretty boring summer so trying to get into GFX a bit. I don't really know the do's and dont's of sig making so a little help would be greatly appreciated :).

I used a C4D from the GFX resources board as the background.

Any suggestions to improve would be great!

hmmm... this is a little harsh but im gonna say to you what was said to me and helped me improve... c4d+ render + text doesn't = sig, 3 guesses as to who said that lol, any way the shadow around th render is jsut not needed, everything n your sig should have a purpose and link in with everything else, bit cliché but its like baking a cake :P

Hard to explain, although it will come wit h practise also try to avoid bevelling your text, there are other things you can do to make it look nice :)

dont mind conn he just mad

look, your just getting into gfx and this is how everyone starts out

pasting a render over a c4d/background and adding glow+text

but now its time to move on and learn to blend in

google/go on devineart (w.e) and look up sig tuts

dont feel noobish or anything as this is how we all learn. What difference between leaning from a tut and learning from a art teacher?

Keep trying new things, learning new teqs and post results. GL
