Editing programs

Hey guys,

i have made my PVP Video1 with only using Sony Vegas Pro 9.0

but as i watch more pvp videos im thinking that people use more than just one programe to edit their videos,

can someone give me advice on what programes i should use to edit my videos?

Sony Vegas / Adobe After Effects is a good combination.

A lot of people use Adobe After Effects, mostly for intros to their videos.  Its an extremely complex program that probably isn't worth your time unless you truly think you can handle it.  Some people also edit their vids in AAE too, but most switch to Vegas 9.0.  The reason you probably think they're using a different program is because you're inexperienced with Vegas and aren't fully aware of the capabilities of some of its more versatile effects when the presets are changed around.  I suggest you look up some tutorials and practice a bit.

Keep in mind that the first 25 seconds or so are an intro from AAE, I used Sony Vegas 100% of the time for the rest of this video, even though you may not recognize some of the effects yet.
