Summoning on a pure?

I have been recently considering to raise summoning on my pure. I have also had some friends who raised summoning but regretted it. Some people think its good while others do not, i just want to know if its worth it.

Advantages:

-I can craft my nats/laws alot easier and do other skills alot easier

-It can really help with training

-It doesn't give combat when i am pvping/bhing

-It helps in multi pvp and minigames

-It helps travel alot faster

Disadvantages:

-It costs a considerable amount

-It raises my combat when i am dueling or doing anything else rather than pvp

-It is a slower cb skill

-It raises my combat in pvp when i am using it

Now the question is: Is summoning on a pure worth it? I would like to get some feedback before i deciede on my pure

It's a great help to your everyday life. But i hate the stupid level thing like 96+4 it just looks like crap IMO. But really its worth it to get summoning, annoying skill to train but hey if your up for it then go ahead and do it.

You don't need to be smart to know that summoning is obviously a good skill to raise. It gives you lots of advantages, and imo no disadvantages. Also your mate is pretty wierd, how can you regret raising summoning lol.

He doesn't exactly regret the fact the he raised summoning, it helps him alot. But he gets annoyed when he sees his combat 77+8 when he is pking.Or him being 8 combat lvls higher when dueling. Personally I think summon is a really good and i don't get why people get annoyed over having +something next to their cb when pking. I just want to be sure i am not ruining my pure my getting summon up

I think it is pretty cool graahk is awesome, i wuold only do it if i had the charms for 70+ straight off, and if the +X didnt bug me, which it does. so well see if i get it i hav elike 2k charms total bank so its not in the picture right now. It is very helpful tho :)

you really wont be using it in Bh if you think about it, maybe on trips where cb wouldnt really matter with a mass of 100 ppl around you.

It's a disadvantage because if u want to use a very good combat familar like barker toad, praying mantis,ice fire moss titans,or wolpentinger, or even steel titan

On those big foe trips, it would be nice to have a terror bird rather than constantly drinking super energys or summer pies to restore your energy and carry a bit more food.

In my opinion no, but I do save my charms so when I do decide to turn into a main or get summoning (which wont be for a while as I enjoy being pure, and it would kinda seem dumb with my name.)

The only reason to have gotten summoning was for run energy, but with the new update it's pointless. it also makes your combat level look ugly in pvp (i would know). Still like someone said, it's personal preferance.

Terrorbird fights with a controlled style, providing you with def exp. I wouldnt recommend this lol
