I really like the left side but the contrast in black/white is a bit too much on the right side. I feel the white is a bit too drastic. The edge of the gun should have been blended into the background a bit more as well. And finally, the text could use lots of work. I feel that's what ruins my appeal to it. The text is very "bold" and becomes more of a focus than the render/stock. None the less, it's a nice piece of work.

Try looking into a few text tutorials. It would help improve a signature a lot. Text could easily make or break art.

What do you think about this version.

I like this version a lot more. Try adding a few black/white gradient maps to add a darker shade of black. Also add a few levels/curves to mess with the colors.

I like the black/white one better. I just think you should have added a bit of a contrast with the black to the grey to the white.

Your better off using a contrast adjustment, levels sometimes fucks with the quality of images when you use it to bump up shadows, it's used more for fine adjustments in news print.
