To Idolize Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 V2 is much better in my opinion. I would add a few gradient maps and use a soft brush over the pinkish coloring so it blends in more. Also try to blend in the edges of the focal point so it "flows" a bit more.
Pk Unit Mog Posted August 14, 2010 Author Posted August 14, 2010 Woke up at 3 in the morning and couldn't sleep so I decided to have sun fun in photoshop. :) V1: V2: Prefer v2 in the first version I have only added another distort and It doesn't fit in great imo but some critism will help. :)

I toke some of what you said but I really wanted the focal to stand out but here is my result and I must say it's an improvement.
