^^^^^^

Do not feel disgoraged by using tuts, we all use them and best way to look at it is

"your a self taught artist and only way to learn is by reading others lesions/tips/guides"

You need to learn flow, depth and contrast and im not bashing you but you clearly have none.

(well you have some looking at your pixles but incorporate them into your sigs)

Im not going to lie but i can do that on mspaint...its a render stuck on a c4d with text and a background.

:(

Trying to help without sounding mean but take a tut that interests you, start easy and incorporate your own style aswell as following the tut and post results. Then we can give you better CC and help you get better.

http://www.foe-rs.com/forums/index.php?board=44.0

Also go to the resources section to get some nice c4d and other things that are there

The colour pallet is very usefull, helps give you a idea which colours work together and blend well

Cheers rare, i just looked at some tutorials, tried out some of the things they said and tried to add a bit of my own flare (i call it my on flare but i was just missclicking things and i thought they looked quite good :L )

Tell me what you think, personally i think it's WAY too overcrowded but oh well :) thanks!

I tried to incorporate a bit of flow into it too :D

not the best color, would looked cooler with a blue of some sort, then again thats just me, looks good though, nothing really stands out making it look bad

there's zero blending what so ever, nothign to CC really, it's a C4D with some gradient maps and a render slapped on top...

Might be a stupid question but how do I blend it in? do you just have to like find points which look the same as to what you're blending in or what? I really have no idea what i'm doing tbh :/ thanks anyway

The simplest way is to get the colours of the render and the background to match more closely, an easy way to go that is to 1) create a black/white gradient and set it to around 35%-75% depending on how much the two contrast. Then create another gradient map or a colour balance that uses something close to the existing colours, and play with the blend modes until you get something that looks good.

that sig for example, make a B/W grad. map on 50%, make another grad. map and use a dark-ish blue as the shadow colour and sample the pink of her ear ring to use as the highlight colour, then set it to say... overlay and reduce the opacity until it looks good.

Another thing you could try is to duplicate the C4D in the background and place it over the top of the render. Again try different blending modes, then delete parts of it around the focal points i.e her face and... chest, l0l.

RIGHT..  :ohmygosh:

Okay well I tried most of what you've said but I think i'm doing something wrong with the gradient map or something

still :/ Well i definitely got the part about the tits and not so much face but yeah :) It still doesn't look blended enough though in

my eyes :/

any better?:

I just used a tut ~(although i only ued the firt 3 stages because i no how photoshop works)~

Then i incorporated my own style. First i recommend you follow the whole guide until you get a idea on how everything works then do your lil thing
