Nope because gcse's determine what colleges accept you which is where you get a levels so the better grades the ebtter college also the really important ones are degrees masters ect which u take in university they determine which jobs you will be eligable for and at the moment due the current economical and job climate university are looknig at gcse grades as a basis to accepting people into their uni and seems as i want to go to Cambridge uni im gonna need to work hard and get good gcse and college grades.

good luck getting into cambridge,

i just started college and had my first quizes for bio and chem. been stressing all week studying for bio so i'd be prepared. took it and got one of the only 100%s. fall 2010 come at me bro

don't feel bad if you don't get into a top school though, a degree is a degree no matter what school you're from. the best thing about getting into a good school is you get to network with richer people, which could help your future, but it's not detrimental. of course if you're planning for post-grad then a good undergrad school can help you properly prepare

i did shit for grades in hs. but in college i did great. high school taught a lot of bs shit that i am never going to use and basically was a waste of time. in college i went for welding, and since i was interested in it, and wanted to get a job in that field, i actually did what was required. and welding pays great, so i will be getting payed as much or more than people that were getting 3.0 gpa or higher in hs.

arent you going to 6th form or College? thats where the real grades are. You need A levels nowadays.
