Does any1 know if the double exp resets after a day or something? Or does it just stay at the same multiplyer for the weekend?

i started playing and for like almost 2 hours i had 2.2 in xp counter the i lagged a lil... and u wached the counter it was back at 2.7

It did reset a few hours after the start of the bonus xp weekend, due to Jagex fixing a dungeoneering glitch.
