Dno bout anyone else but i reckon this place needs a new skin. Same/similar colour scheme, but different headers/buttons/layout etc.

this ones starting to look sloppy in comparison to sites i see nowadays.

Who does the coding for the forum? I'd be willing to make some a layout/buttons etc.

thoughts?

2010 summer is over and its a fresh start for everyone, school, college, work and why not the forum.

Some small things just need spicing up like the bars on each thread (cant remember actual name)

Looks slightly similar to vista layout but vista has more drop shadow and shine to it which results in a much better look. Im not saying copy im saying little spice would make everything look crisp.

The rank buttons could be changed to look better.

All in all, when evaluating i gather screenies from various things (in this occasion websites)  compare them and decipher the bet bits and work from there.

What ideas do you have Though conn

I'm committed as long as there's someone to code it/ explain what the requirments would be, seeing as i know nothing about website design as far as coding goes.

Im kinda already working on a few projects for foe... And tbh... Design isnt really my thing lol, i just do the coding mostly =/ which is in php

Things that are easy to do: Change backgrounds (thats just in the css), some buttons are kinda easy to change, like the 'edit' 'quote' 'remove'... What else would u wanna change?

It feels like there's a whole heap of un needed crap up the top of the forum, but that's not really what i'm talkign about. The buttons along the top ( Forums, FOEtube, Teamspeak etc) are boring.

The Nav bar (Final Ownage Elite Forums � Guest Boards � ~ GFX`~ � new forum skin).

agree with this, the forum looks wise needs an overhaul and the things that connor has said should be changed.

Also this is a less major thing, can you change the name of the GFX forum from ~@@~gfx~@@~ (similar, cba to copy and paste) to just Graphics? Would look better, same for SOTW, just called it Signature of the Week.

I think they aimed for simple and neat.

Perhaps we can add drop down menu's adding the leadership and what not in color. Also, making leadership groups bold and italic would be great. Minor things make a difference.

Think the drop down options sounds best but 3d? Would take alot of coding and work but would look amazing  o.O

PS just a little something i did (just background and banner since i cant install new fonts atm)

I'll be honest with you, that looks no different than what we have except the background image.

u didn't really change anything 0_o

background looks different but not necessarily better

I think drop down lists for the clan structure "PK vid 4" and FOE quick links would help clean the top of the forum up alot

Also just above the banner to the top right it says "final ownage Elite" again, with an outer glow, it's not needed and looks ugly.

edit: i'm probs guna whip up some examples quick.
