Who can play Guitar?

imo don't fucking start with electric guitar... it'll fuck up ur guitaring life... start with acroustic and after like 1-2years buy a electric guitar its way more funner than normal guitars.

I bought a guitar after I finished secondary school, If you've got rhythm I'd say you can get the hang of it fairly fast, sure everything you need to know about it can be found on the web. I've never had lessons, I just figured it out myself.

Do start with easy tab songs.. then u work ur way using chords.. after chords u learn ur switches.. lol then after that u learn solos and hard tabs.

yeah i play.  imo theres two paths you can take for learning.  if you just wanna learn enough so you can play songs to impress friends and girls, just memorize and learn the basic chords, and look up chords/tabs for songs to learn.  if you wanna actually learn how to play the instrument, start out with fingering/alternate picking excercises to get your hands somehwhat coordinated.  just go 1234 on every string with up down picking each time.  this is probably one of the hardest things as a beginner but you'll be grateful of practicing it later.  then after that, start learning the basic C G D chords, maybe some simple songs to get your left hand memorizing chords and your right hand's strumming ability up to par.  next, start learning the major scales in all of its positions, starting with open.  eh i could type up a whole essay on this so ill just stop here.
