rscchief Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 main - more inventory switches, but most mains camp on piety and don't switch 15%/leeches or w/e, can side stepping but not around trees or anything just in hides pures - less inventory switches, overheads are commonly used and take more skill, 15% switches are necessary, dd'ing and side stepping are also commonly used (^ both in experienced fights oppose to some retard level 7 with an msb and blitz.) move to questions if it's wrong section
Cashhbot Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Honestly it's a game who gives a shit which type of account takes more "skill."
Grifte Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Honestly it's a game who gives a shit which type of account takes more "skill." If u don't like the topic, then don't reply, he asks u to pick one, if u don't want, then don't post here. I pick for pures, because of each attack u'll hit, and switching and praying is more important. Mains get hitted so many 0s, even with bad switches or prays.
Briggsy Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Obviously mains do, with more switches are more damage to be done to them.. Far more skill in a 6 click switch than the 3 click switches pures do..
Smush Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 The switching of prayers is meh. But I'd have to say pures because ... most are 1 def and can get one hit .. I've never had the experience with main pking ... 10 item switches don't mean anything anymore with those auto switchers.
I All Pr0 I Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Imo pure bridding is 75% luck,d bolts hitting random 500's,dds specs 350-350,etc etc. mains is more skill,Imo.
Scott|Fear Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 pures just for the fact that almost every attack will hit decent.
TOR Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 i have maxed main and a maxed ags pure i find it harder to brid on pure tbh
rscchief Posted November 5, 2010 Author Posted November 5, 2010 Imo pure bridding is 75% luck,d bolts hitting random 500's,dds specs 350-350,etc etc. mains is more skill,Imo. with that mains have turmoil which can randomly spec out full hp, korasi that bonesaws against prayer and hides, and pures that use overheads HAVE to use f keys to contend, mains it isn't necessary
Ethan|Unicornz Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 with overheads - pures without - mains
`Liam Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Mains probly involves a bit more switching but you cant tank any sort of hit on a pure
Devon Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 well you see here rob, there is a logical explanation to this question. you see how main bridding is ownage and pure bridding is shit. but then again mains are shit but pures are fun. so i am going to have to go with tanks are more fun. thanks
Elven Dremor Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 This question will be bias, pures will like pures, mains will like mains. Obviously I will think main hybriding is A LOT harder. Reason? Because you fight WAY more experienced PKer (Unless you're a low-level main) When I was hybriding as a pure, I fought so many non-experienced hybrids, making it so easy to get kills. But I guess that's depending who you fight.. Another reason is because you get hit a lot harder as a main, and have to be able to do a lot more switches. But that's just my opinion.
cant009 Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 LOL hybridding in its self is a skill thats why there are competitions on hybridding....
Luke Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I'd just like to point out.. I like that "Bonesaw'd" has become a verb Pure bridding is harder, but mains are more likely to risk retarded gear to gain retarded bonus to spec me out with retardedly high hits
Claws|Henry Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 pure tbh but i wouldnt brid on a main only welfare mains cost to much to pk i find that most mains dont even tribrid just melee magic

Yeah but now actual decent hybridding is a lot more popular and non +1 world easts normally has a lot more skill hybrids. On a pure you can't get lucky on a spec normally it's always 300-400+ but you brought up a good point on experience.
Coweyy Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 pure tbh but i wouldnt brid on a main only welfare mains cost to much to pk i find that most mains dont even tribrid just melee magic Yeah because I wouldin't want to take another 3 inventory spaces just to hit like barrages do
ViBeZz Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Honestly it's a game who gives a shit which type of account takes more "skill." this
Ollie Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I'd say they are near enough the same in "Skill-level". A Main switching 10 or so items or a pure switching 3 and a couple prayers? Both difficult if you're taking high damage at the same time as switching. But.. a main would be the more skillful brid if they used the new prayers and switched them. I vote main.
Slee Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 The level on a main is so much higher than that of a pure, but it's so different that comparing which one takes more "skill" is plain retarded. Mains have armor and hides, pures have prayer and combo food. Mains it's all about freeze timing and forcing opponent to put on robes.
