I play 1.6, although only on cracked version, lost my 'steam 1.6' due to reinstalling Vista, and had the code for the game off a friend, so can't reinstall, or I will have to buy it again :(

Is counter strike still popular? I wouldn't mind downloading it (not going to buy unless i can get pass off someone)

Also does it work well with a laptop (vista) i lag a lot on rs + SOOOOO many people glitch so doesn't it get annoying?

yes it still popular ,in  whe WCG (world ciber games) counter strike 1.6 , Na´Vi (clan)  won this year.
