I think its just what you were brought up playing and brought up watching

For example in New Zealand its basically dominated by Rugby (makes american football look like synchronized swimming) but because my family all play Football I was brought up loving it and I honestly cant see why any1 would consider any other sport, I mean srsly in what other sport can you do tricks like the ones your seeing in this video (except the extreme sports like snowboarding and MX etc).
