Like a Baws Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 My first signature ever made tell me what you think and what to improve.
Gareth l Rare Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 As its your 1st sig ill go easy but if you want real CC, its hidden in white. Its nice, simple brush's and effects. Not bad gl on your next one Colours don't match, sig doesn't flow, render is blurry, text is disgusting and it doesn't blend in at all. .....Simple sig tut i made years ago...... Try this for a simple sig. 400/150> White brush strokes> copy render and place them in different places Set blur to different strengths and set to overlay (make all different) Place main render in middle somewere and delete unwanted parts. Aim of photoshop and being an artist is to try different things, expand your horizon What i stated above is the simple of simple sigs Check the subforms of gfx section for links to tuts,c4ds and theres a nice website that helps with colour matches. Don't ever think that by using a tut your a noob  on the kontre its actually quite the opposite. The only way to get better is to learn from people better than you :unsure2: how can you learn to get better at something if you have nothing to guide you along the way. Take note and experiment. GL
d72 Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 MetalCX's Sparkle Brushes :shifty: It's okay for a first, but really try and stay away from just plastering the canvas with brushes. Also, there's a topic titled "New to Photoshop?" at the top of the forum, which will basically set you on your way with a lot of your resources and any questions you may have in regards to work in the future. Also, when looking for a stock image, always try and aim for a good quality image; if it's LQ, it really tends to throw off the rest of the tag. Good luck with your next one, and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask one of us, or even post about any inquiries you may have. :Hi:
Lip Job Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 tbh i think its better than some of these other ones the gfx artists do.. but meh who am i
I C0NN0R I Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 If you want to improve watch a whole heap of tutorials, but don't copy them as you go, you'll start to remember techniques for sigs but without just blindly following tutorials.
Like a Baws Posted December 8, 2010 Author Posted December 8, 2010 Made my second signature, and i've improved a little bit by watching tutorials :) Edit: I made the background darker.
d72 Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Big improvement , nice Bro You've spam +1'd the same guy's topic twice. Relax.
Gareth l Rare Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Not bad but the focal clashes with the background In other words, background ruins the sig. Simplicity can go along way, i like what you've done with the render but now you just need to work on a background which matches the render + colours then it will be a lot better.
Berniej Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 What Rare said in white is 100% truth. I still have multiple Tuts on my old pc lol. They still rock :p.
