Only just seen this now.. i wasn't there when my dog of 15 got put down like three years ago, but when it happened, i came home, and just knew when he didn't come trotting to meet me. My mum was in tears and i just burst out and walked out of the house, i couldn't bear it. That video is just, it makes me sad seeing them cry and comfort the dog when it's put down, because it shows how much the dog meant to him and all that.

I did drop a few tears due to when i was watching the dog, my dog kept sticking his nose against my chin and it just.. yeah. Rip Oden mate.

Benny The Leak LMAO

Im reluctant to watch it because my dog is getting old and I cant bear the thought of him dieying/having to put him down

but I will watch and hopefully not get all emotional >.<

Edit:

Wow i'd say this is the first thingy i have actually gotten teary eyed over.

This man is so right that dogs jut show love no matter what and they dont demand anything back off you.

They truely are the best pet in the world.

Im never watching anything like this again because of that lump you get in the back of your throat watching this kind of thing.

Honestly i don't see how you can get emotional over someone else getting emotional, especially someone you have no reason to care about.

It doesn't necessarily have to do with his emotions personally, but moreso by viewing ultimate, life changing decisions. The dog was a huge part of his life, and being a dog owner who has had to witness something like this I tend to relate to an extent what the dog owner in the film is currently going through. For me it more relates to personal experiences more than anything else, not directly his emotions, although I remain completely sympathetic towards him for that alone.

I can see where you're coming from.

I saw my cat, which i had for 18 years, who was like my best bud, crushed in a bloody mess on the road. Forgive me if seeing some guy putting his dog down doesn't make me emotional.

NONE OF YOU MENTIONED THAT WATCHING THIS VIDEO MADE YOU THINK HOW BAD IT WOULD BE IF I WAS TO DIE, FUCK YOU ALL.

if anything your death would be promoted here

had my dog 13 years still going strong dont wanna think about what would happen if i had to do that

had another dog for less than a year when my dog and her were playing and his teeth got caught in here collar and when they were trying to twist out he accidentally strangled her to death

bad enough seeing it once dont want to see it again

I've had TONS of pets my entire life, at the moment I currently have 50+. As a result of that I can say that when I get my own place, I will have none/1-2 animals, seeing a pet die is absolutely heartbreaking and to me an average life span of 15 years isn't enough.
