Before you lot have a hissy fit, i posted this here cos 'Other Games Area' is so fucking inactive it's intrue, and this deserves to be noticed.

For those who don't know, here's just a bit of information about FF, from Wikipedia of course.

Final Fantasy​ (ファイナルファンタジー Fainaru Fantajī?) is a media franchise created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, and is developed and owned by Square Enix (formerly Square). The franchise centers on a series of fantasy and science-fantasy console role-playing games (RPGs), but includes motion pictures, anime, printed media, and other merchandise. The series began in 1987 as an eponymous video game developed to save Square from bankruptcy; the game was a success and spawned sequels. The video game series has since branched into other genres such as tactical role-playing, action role-playing, massively multiplayer online role-playing, and racing.

Although most Final Fantasy installments are supposedly independent stories with various different settings and main characters, they feature identical elements that define the franchise. Recurring elements include plot themes, character names, and game mechanics. Plots center on a group of heroes battling a great evil while exploring the characters' internal struggles and relationships. Character names are often derived from the history, languages, and mythologies of cultures worldwide.

The series has been commercially and critically successful; it is Square Enix's best selling video game franchise, with more than 97 million units sold, and one of the best-selling video game franchises. It was awarded a star on the Walk of Game in 2006, and holds seven Guinness World Records in the Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition 2008. The series is well known for its innovation, visuals, and music, such as the inclusion of full motion videos, photo-realistic character models, and orchestrated music by Nobuo Uematsu. Final Fantasy has been a driving force in the video game industry. The video game series has affected Square's business practices and its relationships with other video game developers. It has also introduced many features now common in console RPGs and has been credited with helping to popularize RPGs in markets outside Japan.

Anyway, myself i started playing when i was six due to my brother giving me his old PS1 and his Final Fantasy 7.. now obviously at such a young age i was like 'what the fuck do i do?', but i quickly adjusted to it, racking up the max amount of playtime (99hours 59 minutes on 7).. and quickly grew to love it, and seven is usually regarded as the best game out of the lot due to it's storyline etc.

When my brother gave me his old PS2, i gained his FF8 and FF9 which, since i loved 7, i loved immediately.. to this day however i've still not completed 8.

Then when i was about.. twelve and bought FFX, followed by X-2, XII and now XIII on the 360, all of which i've completed..

The game itself is pretty unbelievable in time to complete, 50 odd hours per game at least..

Now, for anyone who plays/played the game, just.. post whatever you want about it, and your past experiences..

For anyone who hasn't played the game, i greatly recommend buying it.

i kinda likes the ones on the ds were its like pokemon..

You may be the gayest person ever.

Mainly for having a DS.

10 was my favourite by a mile, no flaws in it for me.

7 was amazing although the story wasn't too great.

and then we get to modern day FF and the latest installment.. disaster.

The first two lines, <3. Adam, you are the person i am closest to with FF and pretty much everything. E-brother.

And the bottom line, i agree, but as it was FF, i played it, and completed it, simply because it's FF.. not a bad game, just fucked up in terms of levelling and all that.

I'm a power levelling whore at RPGs. FF13 power levelling sucked so much ass so I never got around to completeing it :(

AWMG IKZ IS A FF KID TOO.

Yeah Adamantoise is a power levelling beast for 13, but 13 is nowhere near as good as the others.. no matter what powerlevelling etc. There's hardly any subquests, etc, only one good powerlevelling spot which is Gran Pulse, ridiculous.

Also FF.X was beautiful

AWMG RARE'S AN FF KID TOO, WOO. Vivi is awesome, makes me sad when all his buddies die, like the ones at Mage Village, but.. at the end of the game when the cutscene plays and you see like twenty Vivi's, put's a smile on my face.

And yeah, FFX is fabulous.
