0wn3d Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Updated: 20 December 2010 Addition to FAQ - Can genuine players request a roll back? ....... However, we haven’t made any firm decisions yet about how else to use this tool, but if we can use it to help the genuine community in other ways - it’s definitely worth exploring. The idea of pure resets has been discussed as has “back on your feet packs” for players that may have been careless with their password and hijacked. Those conversations are ongoing and have highlighted all sorts of complications. It’s not an easy decision and we will take our time making sure we’ve debated things from every angle, our primary concern with everything we do is ”is this in the interest of the community?” If we do decide to offer roll back for situations outside of macro use - we will, of course, let you know. I All Pr0 I Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Doubt they would tbh, they'd get loads of people requesting 45 def rollbacks to 10 with turmoil and korasi...wait that's already happened.
Smush Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Lol super pures .... The wildy is already filled with sw prods and rushers who just use ags/dclaws/korasis so really it doesn't matter. What matters is if it affects my bnak loot.
Ramen Noodl3 Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 doubtful but of course i would love that so i dont have to train a new pure again
Lip Job Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 rs is fucking ruined cus of this rollback shit amount of 1 def with shit like korasi and curses
Charly Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Lol super pures .... The wildy is already filled with sw prods and rushers who just use ags/dclaws/korasis so really it doesn't matter. What matters is if it affects my bnak loot.
Soap Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Nah jagex even said in their interviews when the question was "are you anti pure" they said we aren't anti pure, we're pro defence. so no, they dont really want pures.
No Pain Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 if it does happen, i for one will be rolling back my main.
M oo Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 if they did that, hackers could rollback other peoples accounts lol.
Azburn Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 it doesnt happen if they have done defence quests, only for 3 defence or 10 defence without defence quests completed
z Jack Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 So many fucked up accounts were released into the wildy with unknown stats such as turmoil with 1 defence, barrows gloves, level combat 3 accounts with firecapes, ghostly robes. Jagex really fucked up this time.
Phobias Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 i dont think this will get approved jagex has never liked pures...
Berniej Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 I wouldn't like it if they said that. I would make pure berniej 1 defence obviously but imo that would be fucking gay..
Scott|Fear Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Like some guy said you should only be able to roll back to the def lvl u would be from quests etc.
Swag Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Get 99 def, Camp GWD, Make 5b, Rollback to 1 def. Success@@@@@@@@@
Pekoraali Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 That'd just suck actually. There'd be so many ex-mains coming at u with venge turmoil and shit.
Elven Dremor Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 That'd just suck actually. There'd be so many ex-mains coming at u with venge turmoil and shit. You sir, are stupid. If this update was ever to happen, they wouldn't let you keep the defence required quests completed. I wouldn't roll back my defence ever, 78 Defence is where it's at. Only time I would is if I accidently got 79 over time, and that's very unlikely to happen.
