Does anyone notice the difference between playing on a mac and pc?

I had gotten a new mouse for my laptop in anticipation of playing runescape and pking again, and it felt a bit off from when I used to play years ago.  I passed it off as me being used to the trackpad and didn't think much of it.  I couldn't (still can't) click nearly as fast as I used to, and it just feels weird playing.  I miss an object I want to use my first try every once in a while, and I have to slow down my clicks a lot.

I sold the mouse to my friend, and though I'd try it on his laptop.  It felt perfect like back in the day.

Does anybody else notice this?  Is there a way to change it? I really don't think I'll be able to pk with this thing..  Maybe I could bring my 10 year old desktop from my house to my apartment or something

Edit:  Also, I was meaning to ask this for a while and thought it didn't need another topic.  Can 1 defence pures get addy gloves now?  And if so, how'd that change :|

You find it that bad?  I'm glad I'm not the only one.

It's actually a microsoft mouse, though.  It's something about my macbook that just isn't precise as the pc laptop I've used with the exact mouse.  I wish I knew why.  I'm gonna try switching my screen resolution and hope it works.  Really, really long shot.

Also, about the pc > mac thing.  I'll agree with desktops, I ****ing hate iMacs.  Macbooks just have pc laptops beat for me, by quite a bit.  I'm the type of person that hates almost every laptop he's used except this thing.

Yeah I use the same mouse on PC as I do on my Mac and I swear there is just something weird about it on a Mac. Now that my PC crashed im going to have to get used to pking on a Mac again -.-

It almost seems like it moves a little off when you slow your mouse movement down.  Like, it doesn't go the same speed as your mouse or something.  It's hard to explain. 

How easy is it to illegally download windows xp?  I really can't afford to blow 100 bucks on software :\

I'm running fake Windows 7 on like 3 machines, its not hard to get. I also installed fake XP on my girlfriend's computer. And I think what you are experiencing is probably the speed/feel of how the OS is interpreting the mouse, because it's different then Windows OS.

I'ma give it a try.  I'm not sure how this will work, though, as boot camp basically shuts down your computer and then you're told to install windows.  I'll have to make a copy of the torrent and hope it works.

I'm pretty sure me having trouble with the mac controls isn't an argument.  And lets say it was an argument for the hell of it, someone who has used a mac for years and is obviously good at what they do is in no way is similar to my situation.

I take it you mean windows for gaming, seeing as PC is just personal computer.  A mac is a PC.  Mac is just the kind of computer, and just comes with a different operating system, you can run windows on a mac and your runescape will work just as it did on a windows computer if you have the same kind of mouse.
