E N C O R E Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 *Warning - The picture is very large as it is a desktop background* I just downloaded and started using Adobe Photoshop CS5 last night and this is what I made, a based on my Youtube Channel, I don't know whether its good or not and I need to get some feedback good or bad, any is welcome and constructive critisism would be very much appreciated. The only feedback I got was from a friend and he said that "it was awesome and I cant believe you just started GFX" haha. If anybody wants me to make one of these for them i'll have to charge because it took me several hours (believe it or not) because as I said I just started last night so i'm still learning. d72 Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Although it lacks some of the basic aspects, I will critique the image as if it were a Youtube background. The clouds look randomly placed, and that spiral effect in the middle of the text looks really LQ and doesn't really fit the rest of the picture tbh Also the "Pure Community" text is kind of weird, and I'm not really feeling the amount of shit around the Kataklyzm text; some of the stuff around it is kind of random, like for example the leaves and stuff, although it is a good idea it's just too abundant. Also, the background itself with the stars looks kind of strange with the rest of the picture, but that's just me. Overall however I like what you've done with the Kataklyzm text, but I feel like the amount of effects you've poured into it could be toned down significantly. Yet, however I think it looks cool here and there as a Youtube background :nice:
E N C O R E Posted January 10, 2011 Author Posted January 10, 2011 Yeah I just got a ton of brushes and was hyped and wanted to try alot of them out :D I'll definitely tone them down when I do another picture :p I rly liked the leaf brush because they looked abit liked birds and I thought, hey, foe. :o The cloud brushes looked awesome so I wanted to try them all out too xD Thanks alot :D 1 thing, do you know how can I improve the quality of this when in photoshop? Because other pictures I see on the internet look really high quality and I put maximum quality and it still looks quite pixelated :S

Continue to do GFX, and post here to get CC. You seem to have talent, and you'll improve very quickly. I hope to see your name in cyan one day.
