1 def slaying

This is probably just a quick answer but I don't wanna waste my time questing if I don't have too haha. So can I do smoking kills with 1 def just to get the rewards even if I don't get 10 def for helm? Also if I'm pretty into slayer what are peoples thoughts on sum and 10/13/20 def? Any advice or help would really be appreciated. Thanks:)

yes, summoning isnt really helpful for pures doing slayer, pray is tho

and dont get def, dont fuck a pure coz u like to slay, not worth it

Yes but you have to have 85 combat so i'd suggest getting high summoning to achieve this and 1 defence.

Ye im 2 def myself, and slay 87. It's fine, no need for shitty defence levels. Summ is useful though, alot of tasks are in chaos tunnels, so u can use familiars there ;)

summ is really helpful. b.o.b's, bunyips, unicorns, titans etc own. and with the new wild update, you can use summ in wild without it boosting your cb lvl :D.

slayer fucking owns, love that shit. definitely do smoking kills and if you stack the points then when you do decide to get def getting slay helm will be easy. plus unlocking the ring of slaying ability is really helpful too.

uhh anyway, stick with 1 def for now. when you get a good bank like 100m+ consider 20 def for corrupt pking etc. dont go for 10 def because no useful quests give xp under 2k def xp which gets you 13. 13 def isnt really worth it because i think its 1 or 2 cb lvls away from 20 def and its like whats the point? because you only get rune gloves out of it (and korasi but you need high attack for that)

edit: the only reason i can see you getting higher def for slayer other than slay helm is for initiate for pray. MONK ROBES GIVE THE SAME PRAY BOOST AS INITIATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! therefore initiate is a stupid reason to get 20 def just for slay
