The Perks of 20 defence?

Alright guys I have an honest question. Right now my account is currently Maxed, with 60 attack and 1 defence. 1 defence pking just isn't as exciting anymore...so I am contemplating on getting 20 defense...I was just wondering if anyone that IS 20 defense or has had a previous account with 20 defense, could tell me worth it in the end. Thanks.

I personally like it, 70 att 93 str 20 defence and 1 def was getting boring :| got 70 att and 20 defence having fun with it atm.

personally i have both 1 def and 20 def accounts, 1 def is boring just pking pures for dds and climbers...  as 20 def you fight more zerkers, which most suck btw, and your profit more as long as your decent at pking lol..  also opens up slayer as an easier skill, dungeoneering is a bit easier i guess.  overall i like 20 def, but im getting sick of it so im going 42 def turm...  def leads to more def eventually

i like 20 def. i slap on my turmoil and almost get my max dds spec everytime when i fight someone with 20 def :)

This couldn't be any more true. I went 1-20-25-45, fucking ended up wanting 70.

Perks:

- Higher combat (Dungeoneering, Barrows, Slayer, Boss hunting)

- Vesta/Statius/Morrigan's/Mystic/Dagon'Hai

- Fight higher levels with more risk.

- Better in clan trips/PKRIs/Minis

Downsides:

-Still little defence

-Usually leads to more Defence

-Fight a lot of range tanks

I had 1 for 4 years and now have 20. I don't mind 20 but I would stay 1 if I had to do it over again.

20 defence is only worth it if you have entirely given up on rs except for your clan

it hardly helps skilling / pking or anything you do on rs by yourself

that being said, its only 5 combat levels and doesnt make to much of a difference

I really enjoy 20 defence, The better Armour, the better fights. all up to personal preference, though.

i'm same combat as you, also maxed, 90% of my fights are against zerkers. How can you find it boring? Loot wise i down all rune pures left right and centre

Only worth gettin 20 def if ur gonna use corrupts really. Not gonna lie its fuckin boss for multi pkin tho.
