No but in all seriousness, you're right, problems like poverty could EASILY be solved, i'm sure a majority of the working world could afford $5 a month, but it's a case of selfishness, most people don't care about people they don't know unfortunately.

You could gain people some food but there is more going on there like Cholera and other illnesses that have to be fought. Cholera for example is potentially one of the diseases that could be fought and banished easily with just giving people clean water, and every association knows that but they all are selfish and smart enough to not give this.

If third world countries all would have a life like we do right now we would be overrun by them: back in time white people would use african black slaves to work for them, the black came here and started living here in Europe and now everybody knows they are taking over more and more, at least in The Netherlands here we all know. If societys would give all poor people the money they need, then the poor will come here and bring chaos everywhere and if there's one thing the more smart people here don't want it's this to happen.

On a side note, why would we have to pay for third world countries while they have potention to be far more richer than we are? Let's face it, if the African people would work together and get share the money they gain from oil, they could be the richest people in the world.

And those caring societys also know everything, but they do keep giving little money as we need those countries for their raw materials like oil again. Giving nothing will make them boycot us and that's one of the things we just don't want to happen.

Reason we also help countries in civil wars, not because we care a single shit about people 3000 kilometers away, but because we care about the materials they have which we need.
