Summoning

I've never tried the skill before but my friend said I should get it up and there's nothing really bad about it.  If anyone could tell me the major pros/cons and if it's expensive or not that would be sick!  :)

If you have a decent bank and don't stake then go for it.

Ye only downside is the staking, and maybe the costs, because training summoning aint cheap.

Pro's: useful for wild, for slayer, hunting monsters, skilling, all kinda multi combat, quests, etc.

kk ty for replies.  every1 says its bad for staking but how so?  ur cb doesnt change?  & isnt there some way to get 75% of your shards back or something to make it inexpensive?

It does affect your combat level outside of the wild

Your combat level in the duel arena includes your Summoning level.

ya if ur gona stake dont get it

but its great otherwise

if jagex makes an update to hide your summoining levels affected to combat, i see no reason why not,

but atm dont get it up if your a staker
