Animal Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 A quicky in photoshop :nice: Made it bigger here , a bad loss of quality though Fml (n) Constructive Criticism please!
Paxman Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Don't like the text and the stock isn't really integrated into the background although the background does look lovely. The lighting is a bit strange as she had light on both of her arms but the source is only on her right shoulder. I love the background though
Animal Posted March 2, 2011 Author Posted March 2, 2011 Yeah the stock is horrible , It was just a quick rip from google as i was bored and wanted something quick to do :)
Austenf Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Looks like the stock has just been dumped on the background (which itself isn't bad). Text colour just isn't right either. What are you trying to make the focal point? Her shoulder? Not bad for a quicky..
Animal Posted March 2, 2011 Author Posted March 2, 2011 Yeah her upper part of the body + The text i just put in so people knew her name. The stock is straight off google so ofcourse its got camera lighting already on it which made it look weird. :L
d72 Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Yeah I agree with Austen; definitely not the best choice of stock to use; it looks poorly cropped and just overall strange, and everything looks incredibly unnatural for some reason... I can see what effect you were going for, but it's really sloppy in my opinion. I also agree with the problem regarding the light effect on her shoulder, it really takes away from the rest of the tag :p Your choice of text is also questionable; too cluttered and very hard to read for such a small tag. Other than that the smudge (looks like smudge?) work on the background is pretty good; however I don't like the gradient too much :p :Hi:
Animal Posted March 2, 2011 Author Posted March 2, 2011 Meh yeah , quick photograph taken off google then used the magic wand tool because i couldnt be asked to use the pen tool for precision cut out , Yeah the background is mainly used with the smudge tool also the gradient is colour dropped from her bra and skin , i though it would make it go better with her as the colours would correspond with eachother. Well when i get home from school tomorrow i'll do another one :).
FragD PK Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Agreed with everyone else, stock is not the best choice and also is really blurry. Work on the blending more in this one.
Devour Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 BEWBS :D idk wat to say i aint a gfx nib, its ok tho
