New Phishing Method?

So i checked my emails as i normally do every day or so only this time i received an email stating my account had been reported for real world trading and that i needed to login to appeal the ban.

However as you may be aware, I was phished once before and lost a maxed pure because of it. This has made me extremely careful around the internet and I check for the green 'security' bar each time I am logging in. It wasn't there even though this was a .Com domain. This got me puzzled, so I personally typed in www.Runescape.com and went account management and check my blackmarks and shit only to find this:

So me thinks it was a phishing attempt, however a very good one.

Im wondering where he got my email (may have been of the Foe Forums information stuff when the forums got hacked or sumthing I dunno.

Anyways just letting you guys know so you dont get phised cause trust me, it sucks giraffe nipples.

got me about a week ago... only recently started RS again and didn't think twice about jagex not sending out emails about accounts.. so yeah lost about 140mil but thankfully they didnt get any defence up

1) Jagex doesn't email you about bans, only about updates

2) When they email you there is a banner (some web browsers/emails might not be able to run them though)

3) Hover over the link it will say Runescape-youareadownyifyouclickthislink.cn/retard

If anyone actually get phish'd its 100% their fault.

You have to be retarded to get phish'd at this stage of the game, unless you 9 1/2 theres no excuse.

1)  They e-mail you regarding membership confirming it, not asking you to sign in.  He obviously meant that they don't message you asking you to sign in, anything like that is done via in-game inbox.

3)Yeah, let's totally trust runesnape.com despite the almost daily "i got phished" topic.

4) With that stupid logic, there's an infinitely regressive blame. It's also your parents fault that the ybirthed you, if they hadn't you wouldn't be able to get phished.  Blame your e-mail provider for offering you the service in which you got phished from, blame Jagex for creating the game in which the phishers are preying.

It's common sense to not trust random links in e-mails, glad you got hacked dumb ass.
