If you faggots didn't start playing RuneScape a year ago you'd know Jagex NEVER emails you about your account, especially linking you to a sign in applet.

If you get phished you deserve to get phished but this is just reiteration because it pains me to see human beings so retarded they actually fall for e-mail scams that I've been getting since 06.

You judge something's legitimacy by the way it looks versus the fact it is impossible to get a legitimate e-mail from RuneScape concerning your account, enough said.

And even then, if you made bank and ur selling ur bank you would know that Jagex doesn't e-mail you.

I even got e-mails from WoW 'makers' that my account might have been hacked.

Not everybody knows that they don't send emails.  Is that really that hard for you to understand?

And no, I didn't get caught by this.  I don't trust email links and never click em.

Like I said, if you get phished you deserve to have your shit taken and it's pissing me off that the phishers don't drop untradeables and keep defence levels.

I'm trying to educate not on the basis that people need to get phished less but that it's depressing that my species is dumb enough to actually fall for these things.

It's not a knowledge of Jagex, it's common sense.

For the most part, every e-mail has grammatical errors but retards would rather smoke dank 420 kush and e-date fat chicks than actually attempt to further their lives by learning basic English.  Once you click on the link, the URL is obviously different.

All the phisher e-mails I get go to my junk folder too which means even a minority of phishing victims find them there as well, clicking on RuneScape links sandwhiched between free viagra and Nigerian prince e-mails is obviously smart not to mention that the victims usually play on the account either recently or innocently to the point there not at risk of getting banned.

If you fall for any sort of phishing site, you're an idiot, it's not specific to RuneScape.

I think that some people just don't have high enough ability to think logicaly about things.
