Acting like their runescape skills are more important then everything else, being condescending as hell. It's funny. I mean, it was fine when I was 14 and was going to join, but now? I'm just too old for this shit, I guess. Same with runescape, I'm done after my membership is up. Note: There's quite a bit of awesome people here, but I mean. So many douchebags. Looks bad on the whole clan.
Its zeh noob Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 I have to agree with a quite few of you that turmoil doesn't feel pure-like. If I could choose I would stick to the 25 defence boundary. Fact is that the leaderboard (Persons who are more active ingame and in the community than anyone else) have decided to extend the boundary for FOE (The persons who risk gear in trips, who have the skill and the willing to come to a trip). And I'm sure they have their reasons for it. In the end I don't really care. The community will remain the same, except a few ones... And I'll still be at every sunday trip hoping to earn bankloots. And it's not about who is the #1 or #2 clan, it's about fun. Fun is achieved by earning winnings (loot or respect, whatever you play rs for). A questions to some oldschoolers; Would Foe accept turmoil if we had 10 oldschool-(pro)-rs-players more at trips? Would it be needed? I think not. I respect what you have done in the past but this Foe is the Foe in the present and maybe the future.
Beauty of ko Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 I may have zero say in this matter, ive been training for FOE for years now slowley but surely i have reached all the requirements, but theres no way im putting my application in for a turmoil pure clan, when i see foe pk vid one, when i see bonesaw pk, i pk mods i riping the dds on the youtube screen thats what drives my urge to be a pure, now a-days when i look at youtube and i see "pures" ripping 750's with ags and turmoil, first thing that comes to my mind is wheres the torags.... Wheres bonesaw, if nate was any leader at all he'd fix what all the new foe members have done, Are you guys really going to let MM scum defeat the glory of FOE once and for all, ask you're selfs that question is it really worth it...

EDIT: and buety of ko, or w/e ur name above me, bonesaw agreed that turmoil should be acceted. i talked to him, he thought accepting it would be fine and give us an even more advatage to the players who got it.

Because he has turmoil and never came on a trip in how long... I see him uploading Commentaries and PK Videos but I don't see him mentioning FOE.

Accepting turmoil is a lot of difference, that's like if a rune pure clan was a rune pure clan for 5 years. Reigned supreme over every rune pure clan, and then one day. HEY WAIT A SECOND, BARROWS IS BETTER. Put up a topic saying is this a good idea? Majority said no, but leadership said "Hey, we don't give a fuck." And the next day, they're a barrows clan. What leadership does not understand is, this clan is older then them. Just because their a rank doesn't mean they should take back what every single leader has done for this clan.

I dont have an issue with your argument sir. On the other foot, people saying "omfg lets go back to 25 def reqs" are retarded. FOE in the first days allowed 1 defence ONLY. Then 20 came, and didnt cause as much an uproar as this.. Face it, none of the top clans have been "pure" for years... ever since the first man in mystic came along. Game's gotta move on, and so do we.

There is something in member boards for members to discuss at the moment.
