Holy Jitte Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Friend called me up last night wanted to go see a movie, so I met up with him and he wanted to watch Battle:LA. I wasn't thrilled because I really haven't seen that much about it and heard it got bad reviews but... I watched it and it was really good. They tried to make the action (combat) scenes as real as possible, I was loving it. :nice:

d72 Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Just saw it. It's built like a Michael Bay film... It doesn't really have much of a storyline, but the action is just so incredibly intense. Some of the actors were questionable as well; sometimes it was if they were trying too hard. Overall I thought it would turn out to be a ripoff of Independence Day and Signs, but I was suprised that it really wasn't. If you're into explosions, military shit and mindless action pumping into your skull for 2 hours straight then go see it, it's worth it :p
Smush Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 It blew. Shaky camera, sucky acting, no character development. Don't watch it unless you're into MW2 and Halo but put into a movie with good special effects and no story line, shit even MW2 has a better story line.
